The Admission Possible Program


Admission Possible is a nonprofit organization founded in Minnesota in 2000 to help make college admission possible for promising low-income students by providing four critical services:

1) ACT and SAT test preparation

2) Intensive guidance in preparing college applications

3) Help in obtaining financial aid

4) Guidance in transition to college

In the 2009-2010 school year, Admission Possible will serve 1,400 students from 19 public high schools and charter schools in the Greater Twin Cities.

Wilder Research evaluation
Wilder's external evaluation shows that our program is successful in helping promising low-income students earn admission to college.

Program Results
Overall, 98% of the students we assisted have been admitted to college. 

Nearly 80% of our students who enrolled in college are still working toward their degree or have graduated.  Our alumni attend more than 90 different colleges and universities.  

Students in our program have shown an average ACT score improvement of 20%!  By comparison, leading for-profit companies advertise average increases of 12-14%.
